What is SGX?
Well it is day number 2… 3 maybe.. (I can’t remember…) that I have been on codeine, so not much has really been going on with my life. BUT that doesn’t mean I have nothing to type about. Y’all don’t know much about me so I think it might be good to tell about things I like… and also things I don’t like. I’ll probably spend more time on things I like… because it is a smaller list. So to start it off, Music.
Rather than saying I like one kind of music then regretting saying that, I will say I like certain groups music and explain what I like about them and such. So for the first episode on music madness, the group, rather the person, known as SGX.
I’m not sure how many people have heard of him, I would guess most of them have heard about him in a similar way as me. I first encountered his music through FFR, (Flash Flash Revolution) an online Flash based DDR sim, (link on the right). His music is pretty popular on the site. Well at first I just like playing the songs on the game but after a while I noticed that most of my favorites were all songs by the same person, SGX (Super Green X, aka Danny Alder) , so I did some research on him. I found he had a website up and freely distributed most of his music there. He has been creating music for about 7 years now (if my information gathering skill checks out.) I’m not sure what he had used in the past but I am almost certain that he uses Reason to create his loud hard and tasty techno-trance-ambient beats. His music starts out slowly then pumps up. It rockets you to a new plain of existence, literally. Big bass techno, though and through. I highly suggest you take a look at some of the stuff he has on his site, he has 28 (about… not quite positive…) there free to download, but if you find you like it, save some bandwidth and use the megatorrent. It includes most of the music that he has ever had free to download so it is pretty awesome. And if you really like it buy some albums to help him out, some of his stuff is CD exclusive so there might be something there that you really love. Well that is about it for this episode… (why do i say episode? so i can say “blah blah blah but that’s another episode” which is a reference that is sure to be explained in another episode…)
